WORLD SYNOPSIS
FEVER CAGE is a psychological thriller-romance following ambitious doctoral intern Erin White as she enters Black Mountain Asylum to evaluate its most enigmatic patient, Victor K. Lorenz. After an experimental therapy program places them alone in an isolated estate, the boundaries between doctor and patient dissolve as Erin uncovers a hidden world of wealth, manipulation, and deadly secrets known as the Fever Cage. As obsession and danger collide, she must decide whether Victor is her greatest threat...or her only chance of survival.

Fever Cage is remembered for everything it took to get there.
Halfway through production, a once-in-a-decade ice storm swept across Georgia, throwing our entire seven-day schedule into chaos. Locations shifted, roads closed, and every day became a puzzle — but somehow the film still came together.
Many of the asylum sequences were captured inside a real, operating Georgia penitentiary, giving Black Mountain Asylum an authenticity that simply couldn't be recreated on a soundstage.
The project also marked a major milestone for Cosmic Film Co. as our first-ever dual-format production, with every scene carefully designed to work seamlessly in both cinematic widescreen and vertical formats.
And even after the cameras stopped rolling, Fever Cage never really left us. The original neon sign from the film still hangs in our office today — a daily reminder of the project that helped define who we are.
